Faithfulness

I Can Only Imagine

When I started this blog I had no idea of how much I needed it for myself.  I had a desire to grow closer to God and build my faith but what I didn’t know was that I would face moments in my life that would make me question what I believed in and there would be days where sorrow would bring me to my knees as I begged for strength.

Even in my own words, I am able to read back on some of my posts and be reminded of who I am, where my heart is and how much I am loved by God and my beautiful family/friends.  It is so amazing to feel the power of scripture and to be touched by the great love that God has given me through these words.  Exploring the bible by sharing experiences that I go through in my daily life and relating these experiences with the scripture has helped me to connect to the Bible’s teachings and hopefully my stories will do the same for you.

The song “I can only imagine” shared in the video above is such a beautiful insight to the abundance of amazement one would feel in the presence of God.  I know that in this lifetime I have done all I could do to be the best Christian I could possibly be and I know that my savior will open his arms to me to let me in the gates of heaven when that day will come.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:8-10

My prayer for you; may you have the peace knowing that you are a child of God and you belong to him.  Amen.Blessings,

Jennifer
